The Brums

At the crossroads of electronic music and avant-garde jazz, the three musicians of The Brums come together around this project after crossing paths for ten years on Belgian and international stages. Their EP The Brums (2018) delivered for the first time the fusion of their experiments, leading them two years later to Eurosonic, with stops at Dour, Les Ardentes, Le Botanique, the Festival des Libertés, and many more. In 2021, they released their first album No Encore, produced by Marcus Forsgren (Jaga Jazzist). Released in March 2025 on the Flak Records label, Soleil Noir explores new emotions such as melancholy, serenity, boldness, and hope. The trio has always dreamed of performing live with a string orchestra. That dream comes true on the album’s final, eponymous track. The Brums assert their original and uncompromising style, offering a new record rich in emotion. Their sharp and untamed live performance allows the music to blossom with power and freedom.
