EXSONVALDES
“A high school band that kept going.” That’s how Simon Beaudoux sums up Exsonvaldes. In the twenty-five years since their first rehearsals, the Parisian trio released a debut album that became a cult favourite, scored a hit with L’Aérotrain and toured Spain. They split in 2017 and reunited in 2023 with Maps.
On their sixth album, Ninety Seconds to Midnight, Exsonvaldes recapture the raw energy of ’90s indie rock with distorted guitars, catchy choruses and swirling synths. Early influences from Nirvana to Grandaddy run through their first release on V2, which features guest vocals from Troy Von Balthazar and Helena Miquel.
