Miki Berenyi Trio

The Miki Berenyi Trio consists of Miki Berenyi on vocals and guitar (Lush), Kevin “Moose” McKillop on guitar (Moose), and Oliver Cherer (Gilroy Mere, Aircooled). The three musicians first worked together during Piroshka’s 2021 tour—Miki and Kevin as founding members, with Oliver stepping in on bass to replace Mick Conroy (Modern English), who had moved to the United States.

When the global pandemic made touring impossible, Miki spent the lockdown months writing her memoir, Fingers Crossed, published in 2022 to widespread acclaim. The Miki Berenyi Trio was formed to provide a musical accompaniment to a series of book events and signings.

The band has since developed its own dynamic, touring with The Wedding Present and Gang of Four and performing a sold-out show in London with Aircooled. The Miki Berenyi Trio plans to record and release an album in 2024.
